Why Microdermabrasion vs. Chemical Peels

When it comes to anti-aging an looking younger there is many treatments to choose from.  Both Microdermabrasion and Chemical Peels exfoliate the dead skin cells and leave the skin smoother, brighter, even out the skin tone for a more fresher, rejuvenated appearance.

Microdermabrasion is a method with the use of mechanical form of exfoliation using fine crystals that are applied to the skin through a hand piece. Many skin imperfections can be treated like fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, scarring, uneven textured skin. Mild erythema follows a treatment, with the application of a cure, ampoule and a soothing mask to relieve the redness and rehydrate, replenish the skin. Chemical peels can improve the skin's appearance and vary in the amount of AHA's, Glycolic, Retinol, Lactic acids used. Their is various different strengths used for cosmetic to medical purposes. While a series of chemical peels delivers the best desired results it is a treatment that is recommended during the fall/winter/spring months to avoid any reaction of photo sensitivity with the sun.  It is normal to feel a slight tinkling sensation during a peel. Following a peel a soothing mask is performed to restore the skin. 

Both treatments can be performed in an hour as well you can return to work or normal activities following a treatment. For a healthy, safe alternative to cosmetic resurfacing whether you choose Microdermabrasion or a Chemical peel each will restore the skin with a natural youthful glow.
